How to Turn Your iPhone Into a Personal Wi-Fi Hotspot
Step-by-Step Guide
Setting up a Wi-Fi hotspot on your iPhone allows you to share your cellular data connection with other devices, providing them with internet access. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
1. Enable Personal Hotspot
Go to "Settings" > "Personal Hotspot" and toggle the switch to "On."
2. Set Password
You'll be prompted to enter a password for your hotspot. This password will be used by other devices to connect to your hotspot.
3. Connect Devices
Other devices can now connect to your iPhone's hotspot using their Wi-Fi settings. Select your iPhone's hotspot name from the list of available networks and enter the password you set.
Additional Notes:
*Your iPhone will act as a Wi-Fi router, broadcasting an internet connection to connected devices.
*Using Personal Hotspot may consume more cellular data than usual. Keep an eye on your data usage to avoid exceeding your data plan.
*You can connect up to 5 devices to your iPhone's hotspot at once.
*If you're having trouble connecting devices to your hotspot, check that both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both your iPhone and the connecting device.
