Andrich's Goal Earns Leverkusen a Point in Semifinal First Leg
Bayer 04 Leverkusen remains unbeaten in the UEFA Europa League after a 2-2 draw with VfB Stuttgart in the first leg of their semifinal clash on Thursday.
Robert Andrich gave Leverkusen the lead in the 27th minute with a left-footed shot from the center of the box, but Stuttgart equalized just before halftime through a penalty from Serhou Guirassy.
Guirassy put Stuttgart ahead in the 54th minute, but Leverkusen fought back again and leveled the tie in the 79th minute through Piero Hincapie.
The second leg will be played in Stuttgart on May 5.
