Robertson scored the game-winner 3:07 into overtime, just seconds after the Stars killed off a penalty.
The Stars were down 3-0 midway through the third period but rallied to tie the game with goals from Jamie Benn, Seguin, and Robertson.
Oettinger made 35 saves for the Stars, who improved to 2-1-0 on their current road trip.
The Golden Knights lost their second straight game and fell to 1-2-0 on their homestand.
