2024 Harris County, Texas Election Day Guide

Voter Registration

To vote in the 2024 election, you must be registered to vote in Harris County, Texas. The deadline to register to vote is October 11, 2024.

You can register to vote online at the Texas Secretary of State's website or at your local voter registrar's office.

Eligibility Requirements

• U.S. citizen
• 18 years or older on Election Day
• Resident of Texas for at least 30 days
• Not a convicted felon (or if you are, you have completed your sentence, including any probation or parole

Early Voting

Early voting will begin on October 20, 2024, and end on November 4, 2024.

During early voting, you can vote at any early voting location in Harris County.

Election Day Voting

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

On Election Day, you must vote at your assigned polling place.
